Overuse or Repetitive Strain Injury (RSI)

With an increasing reliance on technology, it is no surprise that many of our patients suffer more with RSI (Repetitive Strain Injury).

If your daily routine involves repetitive tasks with extensive periods of computer or mobile phone usage, then you may be at risk of flattening of your spinal curves, compressing your discs or even triggering the beginning of arthritis.

Most people are unaware of the damage that can be done by simple “repetitive” postural strain and how simple it is for us to treat and help prevent it.

Sciatica, Trapped Nerves & Neuralgia

We understand the anatomy of your body and the causes of nerve pain.
We will quickly diagnose the cause of your pain (which is often different to where the pain presents) and release the trapped nerve and reduce any inflammation.

IMPORTANT
If you are experiencing thigh, leg or arm pain you should seek immediate help.

These nerves are particularly sensitive and with early intervention, you can dramatically reduce recovery time.

Shoulder Pain

Our shoulders are vital for normal day-to-day activities and often get injured.
Your shoulder relies heavily on the joints and muscles of the trunk to function, so they are never treated in isolation.
Our approach is to examine the muscular attachments and spinal relationship to your shoulder to achieve the best results.

Interestingly, a lot of shoulder or shoulder blade pain is actually referred pain from the duodenum, stomach and gall bladder! We understand referred pain and we make sure we are treating the cause of your pain and not just the symptoms. Common diagnostic terms for shoulder injuries include:
Man sitting on a gym floor clutching his ankle in pain, showing signs of a sports-related injury.

Sports Injuries

We have treated many professional athletes over the last 25 years; from Olympic and Commonwealth competitors to Pro-Tour golfers; from Premiership footballers to amateur sports enthusiastics and avid gym-goers.

The common problem for all professional and amateur sportspeople alike is pain and loss of performance.

Our clinical tests and specialist investigation (such as MRI and ultrasound) evaluate your injury with precision.

We understand that you, as a sportsperson, need to accelerate your recovery and we can help you get back to the top of your game and achieve that competitive edge.
